Potter and ELISHA TYRER returned to their home in Beloit Wednesday after a month’s visit with Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sherman and other relatives and friends in this city.” Dodgeville Chronicle, November 17, 1914-ELISHA TYRER, aged 78 years, one of Dodgeville’s oldest residents, suffered a stroke of paralysis at the home of his daughter in Beloit last Tuesday evening. He is reported as improving, but still in a serious condition.
