Deceased was born in Plungar, Leiceister, England, Feb. 12, 1802, and with her former husband and family, came to Mineral Point, Wis. in 1846, where she resided for over two years. In September 1848, she was united in marriage with GEORGE BUNTING and came with him to the town of Dodgeville where they have continued to live until her decease. Mrs. Bunting had been a Christian from her girlhood. About seventy-five years ago she cast her lot with the Primitive Methodists, and was acquainted with many of the pioneer preachers of that church. For upwards of forty-four years, she has been identified with the Jamesville and Dodgeville Primitive Methodist churches. She had collected 112 church class tickets, most of them her own, and some of them her husband’s. These tickets, at her request, were placed in her casket and interred with her. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place Tuesday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. William James, an old acquaintance of the family. Deceased leaves a bereaved husband and two children. The children are, William Flint of Everly, Iowa and Mrs. Martha Theobald of Middlebury, Wis. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
