Mineral Point Tribune 
In the town of Linden of the 30th ult, Mr. THOMAS HOLMES, aged about 77 years. 
Mr. HOLMES arose in the morning in usual health, and went about his work, but 
was taken suddenly about 8 o'clock with something like apoplexy, and died 
before medical aid could be obtained."
