without the information being added, or they just put her name on at the time 
of her husbands death.

He appears to be the George E. HEWITT that is in Bristol, Dane Co., Wi in 1860 
census. If he is, then he is the son of Truman C. and Martha A. HEWITT. All 
three born in N.Y.
