She was born to Gregory and Shirley (Munz) Duffey on July 8, 1985. She was a recent graduate from Barneveld High School. Toni was a awards winner in creative writing and received two scholarships toward furthering her education. Toni received the highest ACT score in the Barneveld School District and was planning on attending college. Her many talents include art, writing, foreign language, friend and caregiver. She was a cartoonist and graphic artist for the school newspaper and excelled in poetic writing. She was an acolyte and sang in the church choir at St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Like St. Teresa, "the little flower," her acts of mercy filled us and others with love and hope. Toni is survived by her parents, Gregory and Shirley; her brother, Aaron, at home; her maternal grandparents, David and Kathy Munz of Lodi, and Susan O'Dell of DeForest; two great-grandmothers, Malinda Haakenson of DeForest, and Marie Munz of Lodi; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Toni was fortunate in her short life to find her heart's partner, Brad Lamont of Spring Green, and two best friends, Cassie Berg and Eileen Fletcher, both of Barneveld. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph J. and Lorene E. Duffey; and her aunt, Karen Kirch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2003, at ST. BRIDGET'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Ridgeway. Father Donald Lange will officiate.
