FINEGAN, George
14 Nov 1877- 20 Feb 1954
Son on Unk. & Elizabeth FINNEGAN

His mom is Elizabeth Finnegan, daughter of James and
Elizabeth(McGuire) Finnegan. Family lore is that Elizabeth gave
birth to him alone on the celler stairs.  George was raised as
one of the McDermott children, but kept the Finnegan name. At
some point he switched the spelling to Finegan. Do not know if
this was done as a legal name change or not.


They married 24 Jun 1902 in Highland, Iowa Co., Wi.
