OBITUARY-McNULTY
     Mrs. John McNulty died at her home in Avoca on Sunday, March 18. Mrs.
McNulty, whose maiden name was Sarah O'Hora, was born in Carbondale, Pa.,
May 27, 1852. The family moved to Madison in 1854 and resided there until
1863 when they moved to a farm in the town of Bear Creek, Suak county, Wis.
After Mrs. McNulty completed her course in the district school, she attended
the Spring Green Academy at Spring Green, Wis., and a business college in
Madison, Wis. She taught for several years in the schools of Sauk county.
     She was united in marriage with John McNulty, May 3rd, 1877. They lived
on a farm in Bear Creek until 1894 when they bought another farm near Avoca,
Wis. They lived there until 1915 when they moved to the present home in
Avoca.
     Mrs. McNulty leaves to mourn her loss her husband and five children:
A.F. McNulty and Mrs. Wm. McGill, Avoca, Wis.; Mrs. J.J.Cole, Amboy, Ill.;
John E. McNulty, Hillsboro, WIs.; J.B. McNulty, Lewiston, Minn.; two
brothers, John B. O'Hora, St. Paul, Miss.; James G. O'Hora, Mazomanie, WIs.;
six grandchildren, Helen, Dorothy, Mildred, Elizabeth and Robert McGill and
Eileen Cole. She also leaves a host of friends who have known her kindness
and unselfish service to others. Her hear and her hand ever went out in a
practical way to the poor and afflicted.
     The funeral services were held in St. Josph's church and interment was
made in the family lot in St. Joseph's cemetery in Avoca.
     Six nephews acted as pallbearers. They were Dr. James O'Hora, Beaver
Dam., Wis.; Oscar O'Hora, Chicago, Joseph and Bernard McNulty, Madison,
James O'Hora, Madison, John O'Hora, Chicago.
