Aged 70 Years
Obituary: The front page of the Dodgeville Chronicle, Friday may 03, 1889:
Died, in the town of Clyde, April 29, 1889 of cancer,
James Flynn, aged 65 years. Deceased was one of the early
settlers in the town, and leaves a wife and seven children
to mourn his loss. The funeral took place last Wednesday
from the Catholic church on Otter Creek, and the remains
were lasid to rest in the cemetary there.

Obituary: The Dodgeville Chronicle, Iowa Co., Wi. Mar 01, 1901.
Joseph Flynn died at his mother's home, Feb. 23d. His
death was caused by erysipelas, terminating in heart
failure. Deceased was twenty-one years of age and leaves
to mourn him, his mother, a sister, and five brothers.
They were not expecting death to claim him until about an
hour or two before his demise, so the parting was harder
to bear, but God doeth all things well. A solemn mass was
said for the repose of his soul, Monday, Feb. 25th, and
his body laid in the the cemetery adjoining St. Malachi's
church. His relatives have the sympathy of their many
friends.
