Thur 20 Aug 1987 DONALD REISEN Donald Reisen, age 70, of the Clyde community at Rt. 1, Avoca, died on Friday, August 14, 1987 in Medical Care Facilities, Dodgeville, after a long illness. Mr. Reisen was born in Platteville on February 10, 1917 to Henry and Florence (Woods) Reisen. He was married to the former Marjorie Beckius of Dodgeville at St. Joseph's Church on September 22, 1943. He was employed for several years at Klusendorf Chevrolet in Dodgeville and later owned and operated the Lone Rock Body Shop and Auto Sales. He was forced into retirement in 1979 because of ill health. He was a member of St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Clyde. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Richard, on August 23, 1973. He is survived by his wife, Marge, Clyde; three sons, Jim (Sharon), Oregon, Larry and Randy, both of Clyde; one grandson, Lance Reisen, Oregon; six brothers, Melvin (Janet), Clarence (Marie), Charles (Linda), all of Dubuque, Ia.; Robert (Nancy), Darlington, Henry (Sarah), Clinton, Ia. and Keith of Gainesville, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Latham, Potosi, Mrs. Lee (Marguerite) Utiger, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Dewey (anna Mae) Cunzenhiem, Platteville, Mrs. Harold (Emily) Schutte, Dubuque, Ia. and Mrs. Carol Tapp, Gretna, Neb.; besides many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 17 in St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Clyde. Fr. Ken Blubertanz officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. REISEN, Marjorie A. 1925-RES.
