Thur. 01 Jul 1954 St. Malachi's Catholic church in Clyde was the scene of a pretty wedding June 23, when Miss Irene E. Nondorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Nondorf of Clyde, became the bride of Lloyd Salava, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Salava of lone Rock. The Rev. Lambert Marx officiated at the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Bernadine Ternes of Highland, as matron of honor and Miss Lorayne Nondorf, sister of the bride, and Miss Joann Brown of Lone Rock as bridesmaids. William Ternes served the bridgroom as best man while Robert Nondorf of Milwaukee, brother of the bride, and Harry Jelle were groomsmen. Ushers were Ronald Salava and Francis Nondorf. The bride's niece, Mary Jo Ternes, was flower girl and David Nondorf was ring bearer. A wedding dinner was served at the Hartman hotel in Lone Rock followed by an afternoon reception at the bride's home. The wedding dance was held that evening in the Lone Rock Community hall. The happy couple left on a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and upon their return will make their hime in Lone Rock from where Mr. Salava commutes to the Avoca Furniture factory where he is employed.
