WM. SHANNON FUNERAL AT CLYDE ON TUESDAY (Clyde Corr.) William
Shannon, age 79, died on June 25, 1955 at the Richland Center
hospital after a long illness. His wife, the former Jennie Flannery,
preceded him in death. Mr. Shannon farmed in Clyde community for
many years and operated a store at Pine Knob. Several years ago they
moved to Hudson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the McGuire funeral
home at Highland to St. Malachi's church at Clyde, where Father Marx
officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery beside his wife. He
is survived by one sister, Miss Lizzie Shannon of Milwaukee and a
brother, Dennis of Clyde.
