     Arthur Shelton, 69, a Clyde farmer, died at a Dodgeville hospital Sunday, 
May 6, after a long illness. Five years ago he suffered a stroke and has been 
bedridden ever since.
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday from St. Malachi's Catholic church 
with Fr. Haas officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
     He is survived by his wife, Agatha, two daughters, Mary m. and Mrs. 
Maxine Crary of Madison; three sons, John of rural Richland Center; Robert of 
Milwaukee and Harry of Clyde; and 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Patricia 
Carroll of Clydel two brothers, Earl of Avoca and Gerald, Clyde.
