WI], January 19, 1911, Page 1 Mrs. Adelia M. Willard Cady died at her home in Stanley, North Dakota January 3, 1911. She was born at Conneat, O., her parents moving to Erie Pennsylvania; and there resided until 1854, when they moved to Hixton and located on a homestead. At the age of fifteen years she was converted by Rev. J. M. Cady, who became her father-in-law. In 1859 she married James M. Cady, Jr., and took a homestead at Northfield and resided there until 1896, when they moved to Hixton, on her father's farm, to which she fell heir. In 1906 she went to Stanley, North Dakota, with her sons, D. H. and J. M. She was the last of her generation. She leaves eight children: Clarindia M. Yarrington, Lamoni Iowa; Rosetta M. Sheffield of Hastings Nebraska; Bell L. McCall of Spokane Washington; Lydia C. Hobbs, Alta S. Cummings, J. M. Cady, Dayton H. Cady, and Chester A. Cady of Stanley, North Dakota. One child, George R., died several years ago. The deceased leaves twenty grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Stanley, North Dakota, January 9, 1911, and at Hixton, January 12, Rev. Ivan Snyder, pastor of Hixton Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was made in the Pole Grove cemetery.
