DIED--In the village of Black River Falls, June 10th, Mr. John F. SWIFT, in
the 65th year of his age.

Mr. SWIFT had been declining in health for some months before it was
discovered that he had that rather rare but insidious and intractable
disease--diabetes. He was a native of Massachusetts, and was one of the
early residents of this place, having lived here some 12 years. He was a
very quiet, industrious citizen, and leaves a widow to mourn his loss, and
three children, two of whom reside in this county. They were all with him
when he died.
