"Paul Vogt came out from Milwaukee Sunday morning and returned home with his wife and daughters yesterday. Among the pleasant people who have spent a few weeks at the Hamlet this summer, they stand at the top of the list." "One of the Fort citizens in driving through the narrow Kunz track had a nervous horse badly cut on the barbed wire fence. The posts ought to be painted white to give people some show in the dusk of evening for escaping the wires." "W.G. Ganong and wife of Chicago spent a day last week at the Club House."
