Buth, Jr., of this village, was united in marriage on Saturday, June 23, 1917, to Benjamin Johnson, of Minneapolis. The ceremony was performed at ten o'clock in the forenoon at the First Methodist Church, on Grand Avenue, Minneapolis. The young people moved at once into the home which had been prepared for them by the groom. The bride is a young woman known and highly respected by everyone in Waterloo. She is a graduate of the Waterloo High School and has done several terms of work at the Milwaukee Normal School. For three years she has been one of the efficient teachers of our public schools. She possesses a fine personality, and has always been a leader among the young people of the village. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Beloit College and of the Kirksville College of Osteopathy. He has built up a successful practice in Minneapolis. For several years Mr. Johnson passed his vacations in Waterloo at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Nisle. The most cordial congratulations and good wishes go to Mr. and Mrs. Johnson.
