Ernest Moldenhauer died on June 11. The Livermore neighborhood lost a valued citizen a week ago today in The death of Ernest Moldenhauer. He was one of the substantial farmers of the county and he will be missed by his family and his many, many friends. The Moldenhauers at one time lived on the farm southeast of the Call Street Park and had many friends in Algona. Ernest Moldenhauer was born in 1856 in Watertown, Wisconsin and died June 11 at his home near Livermore. He was 74 years of age at the time of his death. He came to Iowa when he was 21 years of age. He was married in 1882. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Kramer, who lives in Minnesota; a son, William, who is at home and Another son who lives in Corwith. Funeral services were held at Corwith, Rev. I. F. Metcalf of the Nazarene Church in Algona officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Wiggins of Mason City.
