Surnames: RANSOM, NEWTON, HUMPHREY Leon Ransom died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Henry Newton, in Madison Nov. 15, 1914, aged 47 years. Mr. Ransom was born in Farmington, Jefferson county, and for many years was employed on railroads. When taken ill he was at Kansas City, and after being in a hospital in that place for several months, went to Roswell, N.M., thinking a change of climate might be beneficial. But he received no benefit from the change, and five weeks ago went to the home of his sister in Madison. The funeral services were held at Concord, his old home. Mr. & Mrs. Henry Newton and Mrs. Blanche Humphrey, a niece, accompanied the remains to Concord on Wednesday.
