She had been sick only a week, suffering from an attack of quinzy. On Monday the doctor found it necessary to lance her throat after which blood poisoning set in which caused her death. She was born in this village on September 14, 1905 and attended the Catholic Parochial School regularly. She was a bright and cheerful little girl with a sunny disposition and made friends easily. She was a great favorite among people generally. Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters and four brothers to survive her. The funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Wednesday morning at ten o'clock, Rev. F.X. Hess officiating. The pallbearers were: Leo Heidemann, Romeo Spies, and Clarence and Harvey Krause. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Langer of Clyman, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Langer and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stangler of Marshall, Mrs. Minnie Crum of Chicago. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family in their bereavement.
