Janesville Daily Gazette, 6 Mar 1970
Otto Paul, 86, of Rt. 5, Janesville, retired longtime Janesville area farmer, 
died last night in Clinton Meadows Park Nursing Home. Born Feb. 29, 1884, 
Hebron, Jefferson Co., Wisc. Son of Wilhelm and Fredricke Braun Paul. Married 
Alice Stelter in Whitewater Feb. 21, 1906. She died in 1955.
     The couple lived in Walworth and Jefferson counties before moving to the 
present farm in 1925. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
     Surviving are a son, Harlow of Janesville; six daughters, Mrs. Forrest 
Wenham and Mrs. Orville Mattingly, both of Milton; Mrs. Arvilla Alverson, 
Beloit; Mrs. Allan Nelson, Mrs. John Heminover,  and Mrs. Maurce Matthews, all 
of Janesville; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and a great-great 
grandchild.
     Services 1 p.m. Monday in the church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, 
Fort Atkinson.
