Janesville Daily Gazette, unk date
William Paul who lived about three miles east of this city [Fort Atkinson] died 
Wednesday morning. He was sick about ten days with pneumonia. He was born in 
Germany and was about 52 years of age. He leaves a wife and children to mourn 
his loss. The funeral will be held today.

Additional Comments:
Family tradition states that he was thrown from a buggy and injured. He could 
very well have gotten pneumonia from being bedridden from the injury.
