Fort Atkinson, Wis., Dec. 26--Bert Snyder who was hunting near Bayfield,
Wis., was accidentally shot and instantly killed. He was about 22 years of
age and had been deaf and dumb from his birth. No particulars of the
shooting have been received.--Milwaukee Sentinel

The young man was a cigar maker and was in the employ of Ralph Smith for
some time but left last Fall. He was popular among his associates who
enjoyed conversing with him.
