Y., in 1809; came West and located in Kenosha Co. in 1840, and went to farming; followed that up to the present time. Held the office of Road Commissioner in 1842. in what was then known as the Town of Bristol, then under Territorial government. Married in 1866, Miss N. A. Townsend, a native of Herkimer Co., N. Y.
