Y.; left there in 1812. Was a member of the Board of Supervisors of Racine Co., and acting Mayor of Kenosha in the absence of the regularly elected Mayor. Married Achsah M. Dodge in Oswego Co., N. Y., Oct. 8, 1829; she was born in the above named county; their children are S. J., Maggie A., James J., Mary Ellen and Mary Frances. Members of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church of Kenosha.
