GALLAGHAN, Circuit Clerk; is a son of Michael Gallaghan, who came from Canada about thirty-five years ago, and of Sarah, daughter of James Kelley, who came to Pleasant Prairie with her father in 1837; John was born in Kenosha Nov. 14, 1856, and read law with J. V. Quarles. He was elected Clerk in 1878.
