    DR. HAYS McKINLEY, was born in the town of Berne, Albany Co., N. Y., Sept.
20, 1809; came to Kenosha in the fall of 1845, where he has pursued a general
medical practice up to 1877, since which time he has confined himself chiefly to
office practice. In the spring of 1868, he purchased a half-interest in the
Kenosha Telegraphy and the other half in October, of the same year. Doctor
McKinley has been actively interested in educational movements and has held
various educational positions.
