Huyck's brewery for five years; he then returned to Kenosha and took charge of his father's brewery; May, 1875, his father having retired, Adolph formed a partnership with William Engle, which was afterward dissolved, Adolph continuing the business alone. In 1871, he married Miss Louisa Walker, a native of New York; they have had four children, one son and three daughters; one daughter dead. Members of the Lutheran Church.
