SAUNDERS, physician and surgeon; was born in Philadelphia, and came to Ann Arbor, Mich., with his parents, when but one year old; he lived there until 1865. He is a graduate of both the Literary and Medical Departments of the Michigan University, and, after his graduation, went to Davenport, Iowa, and engaged in practice; after a residence there of nine months, he went to Lawrence, Kan., where he lived until 1875, when he came to Kenosha. He was City Physician one year, and is now County Physician.
