Mr. Hogan was 87 years of age, and his death was due to the natural decline due to advanced years. The deceased was a native of Ireland, and was born March 6th, 1820. He came to Kenosha in 1851, and in 1855 he settled on the farm in the town of Newport, where he has since resided. The deceased is survived by two sons, Martin and Patrick Hogan, who live at the old homestead and by four daughters, Mrs. William O’Hare, of Kenosha; Mrs. Sarah Carr, and Mrs. Margaret Duke, of Chicago; and Mrs. Catherine Smith of Lewiston, Mont. The funeral will be held from the Mill Creek church at half past nine o’clock Wednesday morning. Interment will be at the Mill Creek cemetery.
