Miss Jean Margaret O'Hare, for 13 years a teacher in the Kenosha schools, died Sunday evening at 9:30 o'clock at her home at 323 Exchange street, after a long illness from a complication of diseases. She had been taken critically ill with heart trouble a week ago and since that time had been unable to rally from the effects of her long illness. The deceased was born in Pleasant Prairie, September 4, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael O'Hare, pioneer residents of Kenosha county. The family moved to Kenosha in 1899 and Miss O'Hare had lived practically all of her life in this city. She was a graduate of the St. James school and of the Kenosha High school and had completed her education at the state university at Madison. In Kenosha she had taught at the Weiskopf and Durkee schools and had been known as one of the most successful teachers in Kenosha. Her death will be an irreparable loss to the teaching staff of the school. Surviving the deceased are her mother, Mrs. M. F. O'Hare; five brothers, John, William, James, Frand (sic) and Henry O'Hare; and one sister, Catherine O'Hare. Announcement of the funeral services will be made later.
