Mrs. O’Hare was born September 2, 1848, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Rogan of Albany, N. Y., and came to Kenosha with her parents when two years of age. She has lived here ever since. In November 22, 1868 she was married to John H. O’Hare of Kenosha, who died about sixteen years ago. Mrs. O’Hare had been an invalid for the last six years. She was the first patient to be received at St. Catherine’s hospital, and was received three years ago into the old St. Catherine’s hospital, then on Prairie avenue. An old settler of Kenosha and for some years an invalid, Mrs. O’Hare’s lovable nature endeared her to all who knew her, especially during her infirmity when, for six years she could not speak, her fortitude and amiability won her many friends. She was a charter member of the St. James Catholic Order of Foresters. The surviving relatives are Mrs. O’Hare’s five children, Mrs. Michael Bode and Miss Alice O’Hare of Kenosha, Mrs. F. G. Guardiola and J. V. O’Hare of Detroit, and William F. O’Hare of Chicago. The funeral will take place at the residence of Michael Bode, 418 Exchange [bottom of article cut off copy] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/wi/kenosha/obits/o/ohare689gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/wifiles/ File size: 2.0 Kb
