He received the Victory Medal, American Theater Ribbon, European/African/Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with three bronze battle stars, two overseas service bars, one service stripe and the Good Conduct Medal. A member of Elks Lodge 750 B.P.O.E., Knights of Columbus 973, and the Paul Herrick American Legion Post 21.
