A widow, two sons, Charles and Julius Krause, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert Barnhardt of Forestville, are left to mourn his loss. Mr. Krause was born in Kassbaum, Germany January 18, 1816 and was married to Miss Minnie Miller in 1846, coming to America ten years later and settled in the town of Ahnapee where he has resided ever since. The funeral was held from St. Pauls Lutheran Church on Tuesday, Rev. F.J. Eppling officiating. A large number of friends followed the remains to their last resting place.
