CASTERLINE, farmer, Section 6; P. O. Bangor; born in New Jersey in 1822, where he lived till about 12 years of age, when he removed with his parents to Steuben Co., N. Y.; he then went to McHenry Co., Ill., in the fall of 1849, and to La Crosse Co. in the fall of 1856; he settled where he now lives in January, 1860. He was married in the State of New York to Julia A. Stone; she was born in Steuben Co.; her parents lived and died on the farm where they settled immediately after their marriage. From the time they settled there to the time of the death of both parents, was a period of sixty- one years.
