C. A. COLBY, is a native of Norway, born in 1846; son of Anders Colby. He was 
married in Norway in 1870, to Lise Tostensen, and has two children - Lottie 
and Carrie. Came to the United States in 1872, and has resided in La Crosse 
ever since. He was in the employ of C. B. Solberg till July, 1877, since which 
time he has been in the saloon business for himself, now located on Pearl 
street.
