EGAN, Superintendent of the Southwest Division of the C., M. & St. P. R. R.; has been in his present position since June, 1876. He is a native of Springfield, Mass.; his father, M. Egan, removed to Amboy, Ill., in 1855, with his family, and still resides there. He was there in 1852, engaged in the construction of the Illinois Central Railroad, and has been connected with that road ever since. Mr. Egan was connected with the Illinois Central Road from 1864 to 1871, and from that time, till 1876, was in St. Louis connected with the St. Louis, Kansas City & Northern road.
