His father now lives in the town of Farmington; he is a minister of the Lutheran Church; has preached at different points in Wisconsin; at Golden Lake, Jefferson Co., at Cedar Creek, also preached at Burr Oak many years; he has now retired from the ministry. Mr. Ewart came to West Salem about 1874; he worked at blacksmithing for a time; engaged in his present business in 1876.
