He lived five years in Canada; then came to Buffalo, N. Y., and came from there to La Crosse in June, 1860. He was married, in 1861, to Matilda Winkler; has seven children - Herman, Matilda, Bertha, Paulina, Ida, David and Annie. Mr. Fehlberg has been in the hotel business for several years in La Crosse, having kept the Union House seven years, and the Central Hotel two years.
