FOWLER, wagon-maker, Mindoro; born in Duchess Co., N. Y., in 1815; settled in Lewis Valley in 1855, where he has since lived. He is a wagon-maker by trade, but had charge of a saw-mill ten or twelve years after he came to the valley; he came to the village of Mindoro December, 1865; has worked at his trade here since that time; he came from Ohio to Lewis Valley. Mr. Fowler was married in La Crosse Co.; has one daughter - Mary V. Has been Notary Public about six years, and Justice of the Peace two years.
