M. GUENTHER, caterer, confectioner and fruit-dealer, No. 71 Main street; was 
born in Saxony, Germany, in 1846; came to America in 1863, and has since that 
time been a resident of La Crosse; has been in his present business since the 
fall of 1876, and was in the grocery business two years previous to that. He 
was married in La Crosse in 1873, to Miss Mary Weix, and has three children - 
Bruno, Flora and Thekla.
