G. HAGMANN, head engineer at the Victor Mill of William Listman; is a native of Wurtemberg, Germany; born in 1847; son of Michael Hagmann; learned his trade in the old country, and came to the United States in 1867. He worked in Reading, Penn., one and a half years, then came to Wisconsin and was one year at Sparta, then went to Black River Falls, and came from there to La Crosse in 1873. His first wife was Mary Luffelman, who died in 1873, leaving no children. He was married again, the same year, to Mary Kleinheinz, of Putnam Co., Ohio, and has three children - Johanna, Addie and Josephine.
