He was born in Prussia in 1850. His father, John Hahn, came to the United States with his family in the spring of 1857; settled in North La Crosse and resided there till his death, Nov. 17, 1877, at the age of 62. His mother, whose maiden name was Anna Sophia Coppellen, is still living, at the age of 66. Mr. Hahn was married in October, 1876, to Theresa Schafermeyer, of La Crosse County.
