MONS JOHNSON, farmer, Sec. 21; P. O. Stephenstown; born in Norway December, 
1819; came to Wisconsin in 1859; owns 160 acres of land; has made all by his 
own industry. His wife, Martha Christeinonson, was born in Norway in the year 
1820; they married in the year 1843, and have seven children - Caroline, 
Nettie, John, Martha, Mons, Matt and Severt. In religion, Lutheran; in 
politics, Republican.
