L. E. MEASON, artistic photographer, corner of Third and State streets; was 
born in Mineral Point, Wis., in 1848; son of Louis Meason, whose parents came 
to America from Prussia in 1834, and settled in Mineral Point in 1837. Mr. 
Meason has resided in La Crosse since July, 1871, and has been in his present 
business since 1873. He was married in Mineral Point, in 1872, to Miss Emma L. 
Kine, daughter of Edward Kine, one of the early settlers of Mineral Point. Mr. 
and Mrs. Meason have two children - Georgie and Eddie.
