MOESER, was born in Austria, May 28, 1851; in 1855, he came to America with his parents and located in Greenfield, La Crosse Co., and worked on a farm until 1871; at that time, he came to La Crosse and learned the trade of a wood turner and cutting furniture, and worked eight years for his uncle, Stephen Moeser; the last three years of this term, he was foreman of his uncle's business. He was one of the organizers of the La Crosse Furniture Association in 1878, and succeeded to the Presidency in the spring of 1879, which position he still holds. Mr. Moeser's practical ability as a workman and his excellent executive qualifications well fit him for this responsible position, and is sure to achieve success for the enterprising firm he so ably represents. Mr. Moeser was married Jan. 19, 1874, to Annie Riese, of La Crosse; the fruits of this union were four children - Jennie, Bertha, Willie and Emma.
