A. G. NEVINS, manager of the lumber-yard of the La Crosse Lumber Co., has been 
in his present position since 1874. He was born on Staten Island, N. Y., in 
1852, and came to La Crosse with his father, S. L. Nevins, in 1859. He was 
married in Racine, Wis., in 1876, to Miss Clara Thornton, and has two 
children - Helen and Bessie.
