JOHN H. PARRY, merchant; Bangor; born in Wales, May, 1829; came to the United 
States in the Spring of 1849, located in Waukesha Co., where he lived two 
years; thence to Rome, Oneida Co., N. Y.; he came to Bangor in November, 1864, 
and engaged in the mercantile business; has also been engaged considerably in 
grain buying. Of the business men now of Bangor, Mr. Parry has been the 
longest established in the business; his wife was also a native of Wales; they 
have three children - Laura, now Mrs. A. Mengel; John H., Jr., now in La 
Crosse, and Robert G.
