CHARLES A. STEWART, engineer on the C., M. & St. P. R. R.; has been in the 
employ of the company since 1873, and has had an engine since 1878. He was 
born in Portland, Me., in December, 1850; son of William Stewart, who died in 
New Brunswick in 1860. Charles A. came to Wisconsin in the fall of 1865, and 
has resided in La Crosse ever since. He was married, in July, 1875, to Clara 
M. Parks, of Juneau Co., Wis.; has no children.
