BARNEY TEGEDER, proprietor of bakery and confectionery store, corner Seventh 
and State streets. He was born in 1855, in Hanover, Germany; son of John 
Tegeder, who came to America in 1873 with his family, and now lives in 
Franklin Co., Ind. Mr. Tegeder remained in Indiana with his father until 1878, 
then went to Effingham, Ill., where he remained till September, 1880, when he 
came to La Crosse. He was married, Jan. 6, 1881, in La Crosse, to Mary Nenaher.
