He was married in Pittsburgh, Nov. 13, 1854, to Miss Fannie Baerman, a native of Biersdorf, Bavaria, born in 1834. Mr. Tuteur first went into the liquor business in La Crosse for a short time; then was in the lumber business about three years, and since 1860, in his present business; has five children - Joseph, Morris E., Bertha, Eddie and Willie; the oldest son, Joseph, is a member of the firm of Isaac Tuteur & Son.
